A splendiferous blend of progressive and black metal. The vocals are raspy and shrill which binds excellently with the beefy rhythm section. Couple these with the contrast of murky acoustic interludes and segues, whilst being backed by soft, soothing orchestration...
And you have yourself a superb album. Inquinamentum has concocted a formula for what should be a great progressive BM album. Aggression, sombreness, atmosphere and a sense of direction. It's a perilous journey, but, one I'd gladly embark upon again and again.
