I came from afar with a honed motif to bolster Yearning for low hanging fruit, exalted flesh to gorge on My sweet plaything, you laid in lustful swoon To hone my craft, wretch your cries to the moon Abscond in glee at this mendable heart For your tears shall dry and cede no marks 'Cus in my dreams vixens conspire Shape the landscapes of desire Where we roam free in the debauchery A blackened revelry The blackened revelry The blackened revelry But now my muscles ache from mere morsels to draw from Yet I broil for the next chase to adorn At last! A shadow's cast! Come my faceless deary I forth to hound and taunt, prey on you unwary 'Cus in my dreams the wolves conspire Bay in landscapes of desire Where we roam free in the debauchery A blackened revelry The blackened revelry The blackened revelry Unknown to me vulgarity has been exposed An ogre shamed by a shaded virago Reciting disgust I see the reflection Of a feral wretched whoreson My chest tightens, palpitates in guilt The heinous betrayal of my will All the painful memories I enfold Are the only love I shall cradle and hold For some life derails to deranged resorts Desperate means fit for desperate sorts Kissing the feet of those betrothed And bathing in cesspools riddled with clones But I find solace in this blessed curse To line with those with sense and flout those adverse 'Cus in my dreams we all conspire Reign in landscapes of desire Where we roam free to whatever may be A blackened revelry

And so it begins again, the hourglass drained awaits to turn Eroded grain by grain Our craven order blames degraded prizes we unearth For sanctions they will pave Hanging from their vestments - draped phantasmagoria We now see the callous greed that lurks 'neath emporia Hail the man who sways the sword! Parades clichés through the strings pulled taut By puppeteers whom hold the cards And plays living stakes, wagers scars Convinced of their virtues scribing memoirs in repent We trudge through a haze to the post, hear the next sent forth to death Waiting... Praying... A flurry of blades approach Their words of pity revoked Claims pickings aimlessly to the slaughter A lone survivor loaming the bane of the mire Hail the man who sways the sword! Parades clichés through the strings pulled taut By puppeteers whom hold the cards And plays living stakes, wagers scars To wager scars To wage my scars And the hourglass turns marking the ended rout I lay low rest assured one day it will run out

For years the spheres of opus and might Egos they jostled But air and breath dulcet in its tones They shaped a rebirth Fulfilling dormant spirit Lungs purge howls mantled behind lit glass In vain to flatter brethren Faking claims of reaping my filthy harvest Bereft of the chance To feed their souls in the flesh Utterly desperate To give the food of love ardent For when the concord sounds Creative malaise shakes the ground Alloys my sickness Surrenders guard - sedative bliss Surfeit sweetness Emotions in husk can't resist To be king A lucid dream all consuming To be king A lucid dream all consuming Asudden troupe grants me their helm contained of ennui To give up the ghost, measure worth 'gainst their yardstick A needled affair... Exsanguinates the overtures of yore And instruments passed down through lore But in the limelight shines the pure Delusion of grandeur Whoring mettle into tatters A pet jester to taunt in caverns... Of fantasy Relinquished from the helm the troupe moves onto barren lands Content for me to flounder in a swansong I dread to end For when the concord sounds Creative malaise shakes the ground Alloys my sickness Surrenders guard - sedative bliss Surfeit sweetness Emotions in husk can't resist To be king A lucid dream all consuming A jack-of-all-trades but a master of none Butchered to offal through the carvings undone And though this sweet air is all consuming It grants me passage to sleep in peace Opens the clouds to riches which when I awake I cry to dream again I cry to dream again Cry to dream again

Benight 09:22
Braying in the recesses - the furthest reaches of my mind Fiends once dormant break through crevices I can't disguise And abstracting (their) abhorrence with whetted embered fingers Provide no reprieve that lingers But these wounds and burns offer serene calm Keep the closing promise of life's window ajar To churn through neurosis and latent foes Whom caressed this battered body with whispered woes Summon the light Flood history maligned Retire the grind And wait for fate to rid my benight Retreat to the sanctum till the clarion calls And idle in boredom through the mental hell wrought Feigning brothers The grief bandaged smothers Retired fire Of hate and seared fate full of benight And through the trials and tribulations we must toil I long to be transported away from this meaningless coil And as we return decrepit lives Tempt to run cuts deeper with crooked knives I forge content to wallow in narcotic tides And fall to the master - curb my benight
